This is the journey of Nelson Mandela during the Apartheid struggle, the founding father of new South Africa. It starts in Gauteng State, at Apartheid Museum and Travel to Soweto where all happened during the uprisings of 1976. Half day tour of Soweto, Mandela House Museum, Hector Peterson Memorial Museum, the student killed during the uprisings, and continue to the Regina Mundi Church where police attacked the Church goers in it. Then tour of Liliesleaf where the raid took place in the Rivonia Farm.
Fly to Cape Town and where Nelson Mandela was held captive for many years at Robben Island, Cape Town view from Table Mountain. Begin to visit the Post-Apartheid Townships, Langa the oldest Black township, District Six. Accommodation will be at Lagoon Beach Hotel, a Table Mountain view facing hotel.
Then depart on a boat to the infamous Robben Island and a guided tour to Mandela’s prison cell where he was held captive for more than 24 years.
